Following her passion for storytelling, adventure sports and the natural world, she began directing short adventure sport documentaries in 2020. Her first two films EM and Always Higher were selected in numerous festivals including the Banff Mountain Film Festival and the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Her latest film Sunbirds won “Best Canadian Film” at the International Festival of Winter Cinema.

Her films offer compelling narratives that combine strong emotional content with outdoor adventure sports, often within overarching themes of social and environmental issues. She strives to blur the line between documentary and cinema by combining powerful stories with a strong cinematic visual approach. She makes her films in the hopes of sparking conversation, reflection and hopefully initiating a little change in the world.
